A smile gives much...

A smile costs nothing, but gives much. It takes a moment to smile but sometimes the memory lasts forever. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. A simile creates happiness in the home, at work and is the countersign of friendship.

You can be happier if you smile more, according to an article in the Harvard University Gazette. Putting on a happy face has positive benefits both for you and the people around you. That’s true in personal and work relationships. Smiling makes everyone feel good.

Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a SMAILE, give them one of yours.

Try it right now!

Smile and notice how it makes you feel more relaxed and cheerful.

I wish you lots of smiles whole over your face today…and everyday of your life….

THE GOLDEN RULES OF SLEEP

When we don't get proper sleep, you experience increased stress, feelings of lethargy, weight gain, reduced immunity and lowered productivity and memory. How do you know if you are getting proper sleep?

Answer the following questions:

* Do you need an alarm clock to wake up at the right time?
* Do you often fall asleep in meetings, after heavy meals or when watching TV?
* Do you feel tired during the day?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, it's likely you need more sleep.

THE GOLDEN RULES OF SLEEP

1. Get proper sleep: Identify the amount of sleep you need to be fully alert all day and get that amount every night. For most adults, it's eight hours. For teenagers, it's nine.

2. Establish a regular sleep schedule: Go to bed at the same time every night, and wake up at the same time every morning - including weekends.

3. Get continuous sleep: you should get your required amount of sleep in one continuous block. Any nicotine or caffeine after 2pm or alcohol within three hours of bedtime will disrupt your sleep.

4. Make up for lost sleep: For every two hours awake, you add one hour of debt to your sleep debt account. It takes eight hours of sleep to restore 16 hours of waking activity. You cannot make up for large sleep losses during the week by sleeping in at the weekend. Try taking a 20-minute power nap at midday.

SLEEP STRATEGIES

1. Keep your bedroom quiet, dark and cool
Sleep on a mattress with individual pocketed coils that reduce motion transfer, or a foam mattress designed to support your back properly.

2. Reduce stress

Even if you are sleep-deprived, anxiety can delay sleep onset. Try relaxation exercises. Write down your concerns before you go to bed - your worries then won't interfere with your sleep. Don't watch TV within two hours of bedtime. Take a warm bath before bed. Reading for pleasure before turning off the lights will ease you into sleep.

Friendship...

A friend is one
To whom one may pour out all
The contents of one's heart...
Chaff and grain, together,
Knowing that the gentlest of hands
Will take and sift it,
Keep what's worth keeping
And blow the rest away.

Are you a smoker?

Dr Gavin Petrie, consultant chest physician

You can eat five portions of fruit and veg a day and exercise regularly, but healthy behaviour means little if you continue to smoke. The message that 'smoking is bad for you' is an old one, so not everyone gives it their full attention. Below we list the health risks of smoking. Why quit smoking?

Most people know that smoking can cause lung cancer, but it can also cause many other cancers and illnesses.

Smoking kills around 114,000 people in the UK each year. Of these deaths, about 42,800 are from smoking-related cancers, 30,600 from cardiovascular disease and 29,100 die slowly from emphysema and other chronic lung diseases.

How do cigarettes damage health?Cigarettes contain more than 4000 chemical compounds and at least 400 toxic substances. When you inhale, a cigarette burns at 700°C at the tip and around 60°C in the core. This heat breaks down the tobacco to produce various toxins. As a cigarette burns, the residues are concentrated towards the butt.

The products that are most damaging are:

tar, a carcinogen (substance that causes cancer)
nicotine is addictive and increases cholesterol levels in your body
carbon monoxide reduces oxygen in the body
components of the gas and particulate phases cause chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).

The damage caused by smoking is influenced by:
the number of cigarettes smoked
whether the cigarette has a filter
how the tobacco has been prepared. Smoking affects how long you live Research has shown that smoking reduces life expectancy by seven to eight years.
Did you know?
On average, each cigarette shortens a smoker's life by around 11 minutes.
Of the 300 people who die every day in the UK as a result of smoking, many are comparatively young smokers. The number of people under the age of 70 who die from smoking-related diseases exceeds the total figure for deaths caused by breast cancer, AIDS, traffic accidents and drug addiction. Non-smokers and ex-smokers can also look forward to a healthier old age than smokers.

Major diseases caused by smoking
Cardiovascular diseaseCardiovascular disease is the main cause of death due to smoking. Hardening of the arteries is a process that develops over years, when cholesterol and other fats deposit in the arteries, leaving them narrow, blocked or rigid. When the arteries narrow (atherosclerosis), blood clots are likely to form.

Smoking accelerates the hardening and narrowing process in your arteries: it starts earlier and blood clots are two to four times more likely. Cardiovasular disease can take many forms depending on which blood vessels are involved, and all of them are more common in people who smoke.

A fatal disease
Blood clots in the heart and brain are the most common causes of sudden death.
Coronary thrombosis: a blood clot in the arteries supplying the heart, which can lead to a heart attack. Around 30 per cent are caused by smoking.
Cerebral thrombosis: the vessels to the brain can become blocked, which can lead to collapse, stroke and paralysis.

If the kidney arteries are affected, then high blood pressure or kidney failure results.
Blockage to the vascular supply to the legs may lead to gangrene and amputation. Smokers tend to develop coronary thrombosis 10 years earlier than non-smokers, and make up 9 out of 10 heart bypass patients.

Cancer Smokers are more likely to get cancer than non-smokers. This is particularly true of lung cancer, throat cancer and mouth cancer, which hardly ever affect non-smokers.The link between smoking and lung cancer is clear.
Ninety percent of lung cancer cases are due to smoking.
If no-one smoked, lung cancer would be a rare diagnosis - only 0.5 per cent of people who've never touched a cigarette develop lung cancer.
One in ten moderate smokers and almost one in five heavy smokers (more than 15 cigarettes a day) will die of lung cancer.

The more cigarettes you smoke in a day, and the longer you've smoked, the higher your risk of lung cancer.

Similarly, the risk rises the deeper you inhale and the earlier in life you started smoking. For ex-smokers, it takes approximately 15 years before the risk of lung cancer drops to the same as that of a non-smoker.

If you smoke, the risk of contracting mouth cancer is four times higher than for a non-smoker. Cancer can start in many areas of the mouth, with the most common being on or underneath the tongue, or on the lips.Other types of cancer that are more common in smokers are:
bladder cancer
cancer of the oesophagus
cancer of the kidneys
cancer of the pancreas
cervical cancer
COPD Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a collective term for a group of conditions that block airflow and make breathing more difficult, such as:
Term watch
Chronic means long term, not severe.
emphysema - breathlessness caused by damage to the air sacs (alveoli)
chronic bronchitis - coughing with a lot of mucus that continues for at least three months.Smoking is the most common cause of COPD and is responsible for 80 per cent of cases. It's estimated that 94 per cent of 20-a-day smokers have some emphysema when the lungs are examined after death, while more than 90 per cent of non-smokers have little or none.COPD typically starts between the ages of 35 and 45 when lung function starts to decline anyway.
Quitting can help
Lung damage from COPD is permanent, but giving up smoking at any stage reduces the rate of decline in lung capacity.
In smokers, the rate of decline in lung function can be three times the usual rate. As lung function declines, breathlessness begins. As the condition progresses, severe breathing problems can require hospital care. The final stage is death from slow and progressive breathlessness.Other risks caused by smoking
Did you know?
A single cigarette can reduce the blood supply to your skin for over an hour.
Smoking raises blood pressure, which can cause hypertension (high blood pressure) - a risk factor for heart attacks and stroke.
Couples who smoke are more likely to have fertility problems than couples who are non-smokers.
Smoking worsens asthma and counteracts asthma medication by worsening the inflammation of the airways that the medicine tries to ease.
The blood vessels in the eye are sensitive and can be easily damaged by smoke, causing a bloodshot appearance and itchiness.
Heavy smokers are twice as likely to get macular degeneration, resulting in the gradual loss of eyesight.
Smokers run an increased risk of cataracts.
Smokers take 25 per cent more sick days year than non-smokers.
Smoking stains your teeth and gums.
Smoking increases your risk of periodontal disease, which causes swollen gums, bad breath and teeth to fall out.

Smoking causes an acid taste in the mouth and contributes to the development of ulcers.
Smoking also affects your looks: smokers have paler skin and more wrinkles. This is because smoking reduces the blood supply to the skin and lowers levels of vitamin A.Smoking and impotenceFor men in their 30s and 40s, smoking increases the risk of erectile dysfunction (ED) by about 50 per cent.

Did you know?
The British Medical Association estimates that up to 120,000 men have ED because of smoking.
Erection can't occur unless blood can flow freely into the penis, so these blood vessels have to be in good condition.Smoking can damage the blood vessels and cause them to degenerate: nicotine narrows the arteries that lead to the penis, reducing blood flow and the pressure of blood in the penis. This narrowing effect increases over time, so if you haven't got problems now, things could change later.Erection problems in smokers may be an early warning signal that cigarettes are already damaging other areas of the body - such as the blood vessels that supply the heart.Smoking and others There are many health-related reasons to give up cigarettes - not just for smokers, but to protect those around you.

Babies born to mothers who smoke during pregnancy are twice as likely to be born prematurely and with a low birth weight.
Passive smokingThe 'side-stream' smoke that comes off a cigarette between puffs carries a higher risk than directly inhaled smoke.Children who grow up in a home where one or both of their parents smoke have twice the risk of getting asthma and asthmatic bronchitis. They also have a higher risk of developing allergies.

Infants under two years old are more prone to severe respiratory infections and cot death. For adults, passive smoking seems to increase the risk of lung cancer, but the evidence for an increased risk of heart disease is not yet conclusive.Thinking about quitting? As well as reducing your risk of getting a smoking-related illness, there are other benefits to quitting smoking.
General health improves - tiredness and headaches can be linked to smoking.
Your sense of taste and smell improve.
Your heart will be less strained and work more efficiently.Stopping smoking is the single biggest thing you can do to improve your health, but it's a difficult task.Smokers who are trying to kick their habit may be disappointed to find there's no single quit method that guarantees success.

The weight of evidence suggests that smokers should set a date to stop, and do their best to quit completely from this point. On average it takes four to five attempts to give up, and there are a number of things that can help willpower:

nicotine replacement treatment (NRT) in the form of gum, skin patches or nasal spray
Zyban (bupropion) is a medicine that's licensed to help smoking cessation
behaviour modification programmes
alternative therapies such as acupuncture and hypnosis.

NEXT TIME WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE SMOKING JUST THINK OF THE PERSON WHO LOVES YOU THE MOST........

Practice Compassion For Everlasting Happiness

Compassion is a profound human emotion, a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, empathy is something we all should practice regularly on daily basis. According to a new study on cultivating compassion that just by a small act of compassion not only brings you the inner power to change things better but also generates a great sense of inner peace.

I am proud to share with you that I was a Boy Scout at my school. Scouts were designed to build character, physical fitness, practical skills and services. Boy scouts learns and strive to live by the Scout Law. A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. Compassion, cooperation, courage, honesty, positive attitudes are the main core values that we practiced. Practicing compassion in our daily life is not something we do for others, we do it for our own happiness. Dalai Lama said, “If you want to be happy, practice compassion and if you want others to be happy, practice compassion” Empathy can not improve the world, it’s only when we cultivate it within us and bring it into action that can become a force for a change.

Some scientific studies suggest that there are physical benefits to practicing compassion. People who practice it produce 100 percent more DHEA, The main benefit is that it helps you to be happier and thus make others happier. Compassionate people are also more positive. That’s why we all should practice compassion every day of our life.

The practice of compassion increases our capacity to care. It reinforces charity, and empathy. It is very good exercise for our heart muscle. Compassion allows physical body to heal from stress and tension, gives inner power and peace to change things better. My family members’ glad that I look after them, my friends are glad to know that I am really listening to them, my co-workers glad to know that I am working with collaboration in mind. This gives me a genuine feeling of happiness.

I believe practicing compassion is something that will bring us true everlasting happiness.

Let’s practice compassion until it becomes one of our habits

A simpler way to sharpen your memory

A recent study says that we don’t lose our memory as we age, we just temporarily lose access to some part of it. Here’s a fun way I would like to share to hone your mind. Staying in touch with friends and loved ones could slow the pace at which your memory dwindles with age.
.
In a study of 16,638 older adults, people who were married, active in volunteer groups, and in regular contact with friends, family, and neighbors had slower declines in memory than their less social counterparts.

Do you know how friendship breaks?

GOOD DAY!
Well, in the friendship, the first thing both friends will think the other is busy and they will not contact each other, by thinking that it may be disturbing.
.
And then as time passes, both will think let the other person contact me. After that each will think why I should contact and why I should contact him or her first?
.
Do you know what is going to happen next?

Here their love will be converted to hate each other… so sad isn’t it?

Well finally without contact the memory becomes weak and then they forget each other. And their friendship breaks up.

So please keep in touch with all of your friends and feel free to share this with everyone you love.

I wish you good luck with your friendship

Giving the gift of life helps you to live longer and healthier

You could be the first person to give someone a second chance at life. Blood has been called the river of life because it carries oxygen and nutrients throughout our body. Blood is essential to life, a precious gift that we can share as a volunteer donor. Your blood will help save someone's life and there is no greater way to give of ourselves than to donate blood. Blood isn't everyone's favorite topic. In fact, I would like to share my own experience about a simple act that can literally saves lives.

Did you know that donating blood helps us to live longer and healthier? Scientists found striking evidence that people with more iron in their bodies are at greater risk of heart attacks and the men who donate blood are far less likely to have a heart attack than those who are not blood donors. I was extremely surprised myself to find such a strong relationship between blood donation and protection against heart disease. Giving blood to help others may be prolonging our own lives.

People have many questions about donation. Perhaps you want to be a donor but you're worried about what this involves. Well, I was nervous at my first time, but the medical staff answered all my questions. Donating blood is not painful and is completely safe for us. A small percentage of first time donors may psychologically feel a little dizzy but only for a few minutes. I assure you the procedure is simple, my first blood donation was a happy experience and a feeling of joy and satisfaction. It made me a regular blood donor. Only 350 to 450 ml blood is taken which gets replaced in our body within 24 hours, it is done by skilled specially trained technicians and the whole procedure take just 10 to 15 minutes. They check my blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature and iron levels. We can do it up to three times a year. In fact there are many people who have donated more than 100 times in their life time.

Blood is indeed something special for us, It can't be manufactured, something money can't buy, only something one person can give to another. It isn't every day you can do something to save someone's life. But it can be a common experience, if you give blood to survive illness or injury. Every day, thousands of people need donations to live. You may give a newborn, a child, a mother, a father, a brother, or a sister another chance at life. In fact, you may help save up to three lives with just one donation.

If you're like most people, you have a precious gift that you can keep on giving. Since you can spare it, why not share it…regularly. Your body doesn't mind one way or the other. If you donate, the order goes out to replace what was taken. I would encourage you to encourage your family and friends. After all, you will never know when you or someone you love could use it.

Let’s make a difference in our community by helping others, do something amazing, donate blood and save a life.

I wish you to live longer and healthier

Thank you very much for your precious time and reading.

Smiles are the language of love

A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside.
Life is short but a smile takes barely a second.
Every tear has a smile behind it.
A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.
A good neighbor is a fellow who smiles at you over the back fence, but doesn't climb over it.
If you see a friend without a smile; give him one of yours.
A smile starts on the lips, A grin spreads to the eyes, A chuckle comes from the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, Overflows, and bubbles all around Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.
Too often we underestimate the power of a smile, which have the potential to turn a life around.
Smiles are the language of love.
The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection.
A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks
All people smile in the same language.
A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.
Smile becoz God gave Human this beautiful gift - A Smile....I sometimes wonder do animals have this beautiful gift of smiling???
So Smileeeeeee please :-)) ...... Hmmm... Good, looks very good, infact suits you the best :-)

Have A Great Day

Every day should be a good day and you should live it like it's your last. Some people live a life of anger, frustration, pain, jealousy, and/or dishonesty, but all of these things will come to pass when your time here is over. Just take a moment to think, we will not be on this earth forever. One day, we will not have to worry about going to work or how we will make our car payment. We will not have to worry where our next meal will come from, or how we can buy that P1,000,000.00 house. At anytime, Allah could take us off of this earth, so you should appreciate today and not worry about tomorrow, for nobody knows what tomorrow will bring.
When you wake up each morning, thank the Allah for waking you up. When you lie down to sleep at night, thank the Allah for another day. If you have a job, thank the Allah for your place of employment. Ask that he May bless you in everything that you do. Ask him to give you the Knowledge and the wisdom to do your job. If you don't have a job, thank him anyway. Ask him to direct you to the job that is right for you. When you are eating breakfast, lunch or dinner, say a prayer. Thank the Lord for providing food and nourishment to your body. If you are healthy, thank the Allah for the health and strength in your body. If you aren't, thank him anyway for life, and ask him to heal your body.
So the next time that you get mad, think twice. The next time you complain about something at your job, think twice. The next time you say you wish you had steak instead of chicken, think twice. Be thankful for what you have, and the life that Allah has given you. Pray and ask the Lord for guidance. Be sincere, as Allah knows whether or not we mean it from the heart. Help those in need as a gift from your heart, and not so you can get a pat on the back. Put forth the extra effort in everything that you do. Go after what you want in life, and do whatever it takes to achieve your goals. No matter how perfect you think you are, there are always room for improvement, and an opportunity for you to do better. If you are depressed, don't cry just hold your head up and the Lord will help you through. Pray and ask the Lord to deliver you from your state of depression. Whatever it is that you are depressed about, God will take that pain from you heart. It may not be at that moment, or that Next hour, or maybe not even the next day, but he WILL do it if you just believe in him. Allah may not show up when YOU want him to, but he's ALWAYS right in time. Allah will not give us more than we can bear. Sometimes He will present us with issues that will test our faith, but you have to be strong enough to believe that Allah will do exactly what he says. The message for today is to praise the Allah, have faith in the Allah, give thanks to the Lord, and live every day like it is your last.
Theoretically speaking, if the Lord never does anything else for us, other than wake us up each day, put food in our mouths and clothes on our backs, we should thank him anyway. He died so that we could have life on this earth. Always Say “Alhamthulillah”

Practice forgiveness

Forgiveness is something we all should practice regularly on daily basis. Most of the world religions teaching on forgiveness and the most profound human example Mohammed (PBUH) as an example of someone who forgives others for their ignorance, even those who considered themselves to be his enemies.

Forgiveness is a gift for all Mankind, it is a peace of mind and a way of releasing ourselves from the pain we have experienced from others. Most of us have reflection of our past experiences so many negative and fearful emotions that make us feel powerless. Holding onto grievances only causes us pain, suffering and conflict. We refuse to expend a lot of energy thinking about how others have wronged us. Instead we can use our energy to focus on what we need to do most important things in life. We can't go along in life for too long before we have an opportunity to forgive someone. We may not verbally lash out, but we can get upset with people in our thoughts, without even realizing we need to forgive them. Release yourself. Let it go and know that the person who forgives is always strongest person.

Did you know that? Practicing forgiveness is not something we do for other people, We do it for our own sake to get well and move on. It does not change our past. Instead, it changes our feelings about the past. People who are willing and able to forgive tend to be more satisfied with their life. Let your friends, enemies or a person someone who hurts you know that you have forgiven.

However, forgiveness is taking positive action reconnecting us with our own power. I would encourage you to understand and allow yourself to exercise in forgiveness with your hand on your heart, take a deep breath and let it go. Let’s feel less stress, less anger, and more forgiveness

Let’s practice forgiveness until it becomes one of our habits

Thank you for your precious time

The sun has gone down?

The sun has begun to go down.
The street is suddenly all alive with the air of breaking fast.
It was just another evening of Ramadhan.
Children carrying ‘kanji’ buckets were coming from the mosque.
The aroma of finely fried cutlets and patties start teasing my taste buds.
I looked at the clock in the front hall.
Still almost one hour before the calling of azan for Mahrib.
‘patties…. rolls’
A weak but energetic voice was heard.
There stood two little boys , each carrying a box on their head.
They were so thin and small in size.I saw a whole world of innocence in their large eyes.
My mother started to count the patties needed for the evening.
They start to scratch the heads. My mother asked them why they were doing so.
‘Head is burning’one boy replied. The hot shorteats must be just taken out from the sizzling oil in the vok.
I gazed at their young faces…
‘What is your name, thambi ’
I am Muhammed….
This is ahmed’ the older boy pointed his finger to the smaller one.
‘Are you schooling..I was curious.
Muhammed nodded his head.He is in grade 5 and his brother is in grade 3.
I learnt later from my mother that the boys were from the outskirt ofMawanela.Their father is a blind man and their mother had passed away. The boys’ Aunt is taking care of them and she is the one who make patties. ]
Just think a minute! Don't these kids deserve a chance to live like other kids with all the good things in life?
Just think about the amount of burden in their shoulder.
The long uncertain road spread infront of them…
Today when you sit on your dinning table just look around the food stuff…the varieties
Just open your wardrobe and see how many rich suits you own.
Imagine how much you spend for a week on Cosmetics …to beautify yourself.
Think for a second about the poor and orphan children around you.
If you have a heart….
your life will never going to be the same again.

Be Proud of yourself

It doesn’t matter where you are and what you do. Don’t be afraid to be proud for who you are and tell others the feeling of being your best. You know what? If you are reading this article, you are a person who is interested in making more of yourself and you really want to develop your ability. If that is who you are, I would like to share that how every one of us can be proud of ourselves?

Make a positive list of all the things that you can be proud of for an example, you may be proud of your education, your work, your friends, your family, your neighborhood, your country, your government, your culture, your religion, your healthy body, your personal grooming, and your manners.

Don’t be hesitate or ashamed of anything, be proud of what you have done and put your name on it. Let others know it was you. Don’t hide yourself and wish that you had done something. Be confident stand up when someone says your name. Don’t worry about what anyone else has to say about you. Just know that, it is very important for each of us to learn to love ourselves and to be proud of our accomplishments. Even when it seems like you are failing at life, you should still remember to be proud of yourself for trying. You should be thankful when you wake up every morning that you have another day of trying ahead of you. Each day brings more opportunities for you. Be proud of the chance you get to tackle each of these opportunities. Some may bring you more success than others, but the efforts are always worth more than you realize. If you can look at every thing in life with a positive attitude, you will be creating the path to true happiness. We should be proud of ourselves no matter what.

Thank you for reading and I wish you to be always proud of yourself.

Build Few Habits for Loving Your Life

The very first habit is to love yourself and take care of you. It doesn’t matter what you do, if you do something for others without look after yourself. Eat well, take a good care of your good health, take sometimes out, keep yourself away from toxic people and situation(Stay away from people and places where you don't feel wanted), don’t forget to relax and it doesn’t matter what you do, love what you do and learn to enjoy it. Always remember to feel good to do well.

The second habit is getting some help from others. Don’t do everything alone. I guess it’s overwhelming and it’s really impossible to do alone. Why don’t you ask others for some help? Go find some support. You know what? If you are overworked, you will be not good for anybody.

The third habit is learn to say “No” we can never say this enough and saying “No” to anything is immoral or unethical and also we all know that saying “No” to anything doesn’t make us feel good. For an example: “No.” I don’t feel like working this hard. Or “No” I don’t want to go out because I feel tired.” I don’t know why saying “No” is so hard for many of us. But saying “No can often support the greater good of “Yes” do you know what? Saying “No” to other people’s requests helps us achieve our more important goals. Specifically taking care of ourselves, believe me. It's okay. You will still be loved when you say "No" because you simply can't do it all.

The last one habit I would like to share with you is to talk less, listen more and learn. This is a really hard one but talking is exhausting. It’s easier to listen, you don’t have to work hard and then you learn things. You know what? When you listen you can see what others have to offer and what others don’t. So why don’t you listen up? Show respect by appreciating ideas and what he or she gives you.

I promise you, if you do so, your rewards will be enormous in more ways then you have ever imagined.

Take care of yourself and be in the habit of loving your life.

Thank you for reading and I wish you good luck with good habits

Everything good has good reason

The story is told of an old time king and his adviser.

The adviser was known for his wisdom and strikingly positive attitude. No mater what happened, the adviser would say, “May something good come from it!”

One day, the kind returned to his castle with a bleeding hand; he had lost a finger while hunting in the forest. In pain, he showed his hand to his adviser, who simply said, “May something good come from it!” Angry at his adviser’s comment, the king shouted, “What good can come from losing my finger? Jail him!” to which the adviser simply said, “May something good come from it!”

The king appointed a new adviser, who became the second most important person in the kingdom. Later, the king’s armies were defeated by a neighboring kingdom. The tradition was that the winner would offer the most important person in the defeated kingdom as a sacrifice to the gods. However, the king was missing a finger and the triumphant enemy king declared, “I will not offer any incomplete sacrifice to the gods. Find the adviser, he will do!” And so the lives of the king and his former adviser were saved- due to events that seemed terrible when they happened.

How many of us have laid perfect plans only to see them altered or ruined by some unexpected, unwelcomed event? And how many of us change our minds and become grateful when the results of such events prove favorable?

Just because we can’t see the future, a positive outcome for an inexplicable event doesn’t make the gift to enjoy or a lesson to learn. Or as the saying goes, “May something good come from it!”

Secrets to feel everlasting happiness

Making yourself feel happy doesn’t have to cost you money, how do we find happiness? Being happy is much easier than you might think it is…how do you feel when you just think back to a happy moment of your past? Of course it was joyful. You were smiling, laughing, and relaxed.

Did you know that? Happy people have a different way of thinking and doing things, they maintain a positive attitude about people, things and life in general. Happy people generally have few secrets and here are few secrets I would like to share with you to feel happy without spending a thing.

Love Yourself
Be your own best friend. It sounds simple but learning to truly love yourself can be a challenge. It's absolutely the most essential step in being a happy person. You need to learn to enjoy your own company and to embrace everything about yourself. Like who you are on the inside.

Take a good care of Yourself
As a part of loving yourself, you will take care of your body and health. Eat healthy and work out. Get plenty of rest. Drink lots of water. Exercise your body and mind by continually energizing it with interesting and exciting challenges. When you're not feeling well - either physically or emotionally, it's hard to be happy.

Love Others
Love is what makes the world go around. Follow the saying "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you". This is simply saying treat everyone with kindness, compassion and respect. Love is the basis for ALL happiness. If we love being with someone - we're happy. If we love what we are doing - we're happy.

Hang out with Friends
Hang out with the people you love. What three steps can you take which will allow you to spend time with people who you love? If this means cancelling all the appointments you have with the people who drain you, waste your time and energy - so be it. Basking in negative energy will get you more of the same so hang out with the people who want nothing more than to love you.

Learn to Enjoy what you do
Some statistics show that 80% of people dislike their jobs! No wonder there's so many unhappy people running around. We spend a great deal of our life working. Choose a career that you enjoy - the extra money of a job you detest isn't worth it. Make time to enjoy your hobbies and pursue special interests. Doing things you enjoy makes you happier and more productive.

So the next time you notice that you’re not feeling so good, think of just one of the above and practice it, you’ll be feeling great in no time and loving life.

I wish you every Happiness in your life and Thank you for reading.

Nothing is impossible

Have you ever thought about why are some people failing although they wish success often?

Do remember that all our thoughts become things, what we think most of our time is what we become. Anything is possible in our life, if we just believe it. Every one of us at some point of life has dreamed of being someone special. Who doesn’t dreams of being rich, successful, or happy life? We often dream big and have great aspirations. Unfortunately our dreams remain just that-dream.

We think about thousands of things each and every minute and day. We pay little attention to them every day and most of them are not positive, we do not even try to control our negative thoughts. Eventually we end up believing that our thoughts do not turn into reality. If we predominate our thoughts on doubt or fear then those thoughts become true. Thus, we meet with failure and poverty.

This is a sad turn of events in our life, instead of experiencing exciting adventures. let us allow only those thoughts that suite the thing we want and constantly filter our thoughts. Then we will have perfect control on our thoughts. If someone fears that you will retain weight easily by eating, you will entertain fearful images of yourself each time you eat and the mental image becomes the reality very soon.

You know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher. If we intensely desire to have super health, youth, and happiness, our brain will eventually guide us to seek ways to control food intake, eat more fruits and vegetables to do exercises often. You will find that anything you desired will be yours.

I wish you to live your dream life and thank you for reading

Let’s practice delayed Gratification and Discipline

Our natural tendency is to spend everything we earn plus a little bit more. Our mind set of doing what is fun, and enjoyable is the primary cause of personal failure in our life. We are to spend everything we earn and many of us say that changing our career would do better for a while but did you know? that one of the secrets of successful people is the ability to see things from a long term perspective. So let’s get rid of extra expenses that are holding us back because it may be important for us to surround ourselves with a team of experts such as a reliable accountant, motivation coach, and a financial planner. Just know that, successful people often make themselves do things that others don’t want to do. On the other hand, disciplining ourselves to do what we know is important, although difficult is the personal satisfaction.

Every sacrifice that we make today will be rewarded with compound interest in the future.

I wish you good luck and thanks for your precious time

Experience the true happiness

Are you looking for happiness? Well, the reality is if you are looking for happiness out there you will never find it because happiness doesn’t come without, it's here within you. If you ask anyone to describe the feeling as happiness, I believe he or she will says that is a feeling of pleasure. There is a connection between these kinds of feelings. Pleasure is more dependent on the five senses while happiness is independent of them.

Pleasure is a good feeling that comes from eating good food, enjoying a party etc. Pleasure has to do with enjoyment though the five senses. For an example, a person may smokes cigarettes because it gives him pleasure, yet, this doesn’t make him happier, especially if he acknowledges the fact that it is not good for his health.

Every one of us has our own definition of ‘happiness’. Happiness for a beggar may mean a lot of money. Happiness for a business man may mean success. So, how do we become happy? Well, you don’t have to have the best things in this world to just to be happy. It’s all about doing and making the best out of every single thing. When you find yourself smiling at your own mistake, tell yourself that, Oh, I will do better next time. You possess a willingness to stand up again and try- that will make you feel a happy person.

Life does not have to be perfect for you to be a happy and the key to happiness is already within yourself. You don’t need to wait for happiness to come, if you can convince yourself to stay relaxed and calm in every situation, and activities such as learning to concentrate and control the mind, developing your self discipline, and residing spiritual literature, you will experience the true happiness in your life because those are the gate.

Now, it is up to you to decide and it is your own decision to choose to be happy.

I wish you good luck with your happiness and thank you for reading

A Successful Relationship . . .

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle and fascinated by its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband. When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words..

QUESTIONS:

1. What were the four words?

2. What is the implication of this story?

read..
ANSWER:

The husband just said "I Love You Darling" The husband's totally unexpected reaction is proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in findingfault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not happen.

No one to be blamed. She had lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her. If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiving attitude, selfishness, and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.

"A successful relationship requires falling in love many times with the same person . . . "

Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into our mind and thoughts. All of our feelings and beliefs are based on our internal thoughts that both our conscious mind and subconscious mind. It is a mental attitude that expects good results. We are in control, whether we know it or not. A positive mind anticipates happiness, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. You become what you think of most of your time and whatever your mind expects, it finds.

It is quite common when we find someone who feels down, we say “think Positive” and most people don’t take these words seriously, as they don’t know what they really mean. Positive thinking brings us inner peace, better health, and happiness with satisfaction. It also helps the daily affairs of life move more smoothly and makes our life brighter.

People around you pick your mental moods and are affected accordingly. Think about happiness, good health and success life. Then you will cause people to like you and desire to help you, because they enjoy the vibrations that your positive mind emits.

In order to make positive thinking yield results, you need to develop a positive attitude toward life, expect a successful outcome of whatever you do, but also take any necessary actions to ensure your success.

Telling yourself that everything is going to be all right. It has to be your predominant mental attitude. It is not enough to think positively for a few moments, and then letting fears and lack of belief enter your mind.

Think positive and expect only favorable results and situations, even if your current circumstances are not as you wish them to be. In time, your mental attitude will affect your life and circumstances and change them accordingly.

Are you willing to change the way you think?

Here are a few actions and tips to help you develop the power of positive thinking
  • Always use only positive words while thinking and while talking. Use words such as, 'I can', 'I am able', 'it is possible', 'it can be done', etc.
  • Before starting with any plan or action, visualize clearly in your mind its successful outcome. If you visualize with concentration and faith, you will be amazed at the results.
  • Read at least one page of inspiring book every day.
  • Associate yourself with people who think positively.
Prove to yourself the reality the power of positive thinking.

I thank you for your time and wish you Good Luck

Be Confident

Have you ever thought about to be confident? Well, I read a proverb somewhere says that, “For a man of confidence all roads lead to success” first of all it’s very good to make a list of special talents that you have for an example: Focusing on your attributes helps distract you from those parts of yourself that you think are flawed. It doesn't have to be a specific skill or activity either; it can be an approach or an attitude that you champion through out your life.

The next thing is that we have to take action. Taking a simple step of action can be very powerful that will bring such a surprise. It could be something as simple as tackling a task that you have been procrastinating, such as writing a letter to your friend that has been out of control for the last several months. Whether large or small, action brings with it exhilaration, enthusiasm, and the confidence.

Finally, you have to take care of yourself that eat a healthy diet and make sure that you get enough exercise. Don’t overload your body and don’t deny any of the things that your body needs. At the same time, you know what? Buying all the moisturizers and creems will never bring you closer to who really want to be, those are only make up. Confidence comes from within. Take the time to reflect on your life and do some emotional maintenance. In order to be confident, you must value yourself and understand that your well-being is important.

I wish you good luck with your self confidence

Thank you for your precious time.

Love what you do

It doesn’t matter what you do, if you love what you do, you will never feel like working, it energizes you. to do something well, you have to like it. That idea is not exactly novel. We have got it down to four words: “Do What You Love" Whether you want to earn a degree program or start a business. You must start with a burning desire. There will be roadblocks along the way. Without feeling of purpose, it’s easy to become overwhelmed, lose focus and give up entirely.

Often people are close to finding their dream, they simply need to “fine tune” it. And then channel your passion.

Good Luck

Why never have any spire times?

The question is often asked why we never have any spare time in the modern life.

Well it is our poor choice management that much has been written about proper time management, but sometimes the advice focuses merely on making more efficient use of time. Get up earlier, delegate everything. Such advice does not really effectively address the problem of too many tasks. In fact, too much emphasis on time management makes one obsessive, always watching the clock and thinking about what task is scheduled next. So perhaps the nervousness over time management should give way to a more thoughtful care about choice management. Manage your life, not your time. Modern society suffers from an unwillingness to say, "No." Faced with too many options and too much pressure, we respond with too many YESES. We are afraid to deny to others or to ourselves the many opportunities, the many options, we face daily. But everything we choose requires Use Time.

There is an old proverb somewhere that says, "To accomplish more, do less." Success doesn’t require hard work, success requests smart work. Plan your day and enjoy accomplishing them.

Good Luck and Thank you for reading

How to realize your Potential?

Every one of us has our own incredible capacity to accomplish our wildest dreams! Did you know? That, within you is the power to accomplish anything you want in your life but it will never happen if you are not tuned into your true desires.

For an example if you want to be succeeding in business, you may not be another mega-millionaire, but you will succeed in your endeavors. Set goals that you can achieve. Divide them into little tidbits that you can accomplish every day, every month, or every year. Set your goals for success.

Start immediately to accomplish the goals you have set. In fact, give yourself a task that you can finish by tomorrow. Think of yourself as a success in your endeavors. Live and breathe them until you have them.

Can you see yourself a year from now, having achieved a few goals?

Can you make the decision and commitment to become successful in your desires?

If you answer yes then you have the potential to accomplish anything you want.

People fail because they immediately fasten their attention to the negative. Change your thinking and work the part of your plan you can, do everything you can! Always appreciate everything, even if you feel like something could be negative. Understand that there is no right or wrong way to do something. Be thankful for your mistakes, and let them go!

Because, there are no mistakes only opportunities to learn

Enjoy the moment, live your moment and forget the future or your past…

Thank you for your precious time

The Nice One....

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert During some point of the Journey they had an Argument, and one friend Slapped the other one In the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:
''TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE"
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath.
The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE"

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.

Do not value the THINGS you have in your life. But value WHO you have in your life! Life's short. If you don't look around once in a while ,you might miss it.

What do you want in life?

Wouldn't it be great to have a real life that made all our wishes come true? Well, forget it. That's not going to happen in this lifetime. Opportunity must be created - not wished for. If you wait around for things to happen, don’t wait for life to happen. Get out there and be what happens to life!

If you have no plan for your life, you have planned to fail. In other words, by doing nothing, we get nothing. We are the architect of our life. An easily established plan of action we can refer to that will help us get what we want in life.

So what is your plan?

What do you really want out of your life?

And what steps will you take to achieve them?

Now, get a pen and a blank sheet of paper, write something you want in life, and write five steps you will take to accomplish your desires. Keep the list with you and concentrate on it every day. Visualize yourself already having these goals. Devote time to working on your list, accomplishing your wants and they will happen for you. But you must participate in the effort to get them and not just wait around for them to happen. Keep a smaller version of your list with you at all times and refer to it as often as you can.
.
So, working with your goal list every day, whatever it takes, what else can you do? Keep your goals and desires in the forefront of your mind and do whatever it takes to make them become realities.
.
I wish you good luck with all your desires in life

The key to success

The key to success is preparation. Do you know what does it mean to be prepared?

Preparation extended beyond having a pencil and paper, but meant that you must have a plan and more importantly be committed to that plan. But most of us do not have a plan. Unfortunately, more value is placed in the everyday written grocery list, than a personal success action plan.

Preparation means that you must also have the necessary attitudes supported by those underlying beliefs if you truly wish to master success. Do you think something like: "Oh, no, I need to sit down and work on this or that?" If you thought positively about the planning time such as "Great, I can see how I can get this done faster and better than the last time," would the outcome be different?

If we could get everything we needed out of a book? It seems that books have become the magic pill for success. Read this and master success. Oh, if life was only that easy. Yet supporting most of these success strategies is something related to preparation. Whether it is goal setting, time management, decision making or any of those other self leadership skills, preparation is one of the most essential keys to success.

So, if you want to unlock the door to success, using the preparation as the key to success, then take the time to determine the following:

· Do you have a written plan for life success?
· Do you have the right attitudes?
· Do you have the right professional development and training?
· Do you have the clarity of purpose and vision?

If you desire success, that means you must answer “Yes” to all of those questions.

Thank you for reading and I wish you every success in life.

Apologizing .....

Apologizing doesn't mean that you are wrong & the other is right..

It means that you value the relationship more than your ego…

Why we can’t have what we want in life?

Why is it some people who seem to be less deserving than we have it all? Abundance, friends, and relationships keep coming their way while we keep struggling to make ends meet. You know we deserve their abundance, but it seems unattainable. We're smart, educated, deserving, and we work hard-what is it they know that we do not?

As simple and unrealistic as it may seem-the one and only reason they have it is because they know they can. And they know they can have more anytime they wish. It is this thought separating them from us. Whether they were born into it, or worked for it-they all have the same knowingness-they can have it and more. This knowingness is why only five percent of the population controls 95% of the world's riches. Although the only difference in having and not having is within the knowledge we can have it-there are good reasons we will be able to come up with that will support our belief

1. We don't know what we really want in life.
2. Its too difficult to focus on our desire
3. We want to control the process.
4. We believe we do not have the power to change our circumstances.
5. We just cannot have anything we want in life.

Our parents and others were telling us, we were taught these destructive beliefs. The first step to making it happen is in accepting we can do it-and it's all we really have to do. In all you can imagine or dream of, simply know we already have it, even if we have to lie to ourselves for a period of time. What should picture it, focus on what it is we wish to experience and we will bring it into our experience-we will have it as our own. We will always get what we truly desire-desire is the key word. we can never have what we want, but we always get what we desire.

I wish you good luck...

Thank you for reading

On Friendship

Kahlil Gibran

Your friend is your needs answered.

He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.

And he is your board and your fireside.

For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.

When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "no" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "yes."

And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart; For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared,

with joy that is unacclaimed.

When you part from your friend, you grieve not;

For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence,

as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain.

And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit.

For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery

is not love but a net cast forth:

and only the unprofitable is caught.

And let your best be for your friend.

If he must know the ebb of your tide,

let him know its flood also.

For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?

Seek him always with hours to live.

For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness.

And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.
